Creature from the Black Lagoon
Remember those drive-in movie days? This game will bring back some classic memories of simpler times as you enter the "Starlight Drive-In" for a creature-feature movie.
This is a very special pinball game made by Williams\Bally in the 1990's. The game is based on the 1954 3-D movie of the same name, and features a drive-in movie theme complete with rock and roll music from the 1950's. This game is one of the top 20 rated pinball games of all time, with an 8.4 out of 10 rating from Internet Pinball Database.
The game is very challenging with multiple skill levels and rewards. The most unique feature of this game is a real 3-D hologram image of the creature that appears from under the playfield in a large window (never reproduced in any other pinball machine). You must rescue the woman from the creature in order to see the creature hologram. The game also has the "hot pink" playfield that is desired by many collectors.
For the 1954 movie, the Creature was played by Ricou Browning (in water)
and Ben Chapman (on land), both were not given credit in the original movie.
